Overview

For programs that utilized utilize environmental projects, it is often necessary to add designate a physical relationship between applications and the projects themselves to aid with reporting and document template needsa project and an submission. An example of this would be linking a Trust Fund application to indicate its relationship to the project. Users have the capability to select an application and associated designate this relationship by selecting a submission and associating it with a master project. This has proven to be beneficial for programs that deal with remediation of Storage Tanks, Brownfields, and Dry Cleaners as they tend to employ environmental projects.

How to Associate an Application

Associating a Submission with a Master Project

To associate a Submission with a master project:

• Search for and open the Master Project that the application relates to.

• Click the Linked Submissions tab. A list of submission(s) already associated with the master project will be displayed.

• Click the Link Submission button. A page will appear for the user to select any submission tied to the site of the Master Project.

• Find the submission to relate to in the list. Click the Relate button. Note: The user has the ability to Relate one submission at a time.

Manage Related Submissions

For a submission that is associated with the Master Project the user has the ability to:

• View the related submission

• Remove the association to the submission (unlink)

View the related Submission

To view the details of a submission related to the Master Project, click the Open button

for the related submission. The Submission Details page for the associated submission will be displayed.

Remove an Association to a Submission

To remove an association to a submission:

• Select the Unlink Application icon. Upon clicking this for a recordSubmission icon for the submission to unlink

• Upon clicking, a dialog displays which reads "Unlink Application?" Selecting yes will Select Yes to confirm and remove the association.
