How Does Data Viewer Report Drill-Down Work?
When working with Data Hub data sources, nVISAGE has the ability to "drill down," showing details of related records. Drill-down is based on the primary (leftmost) data source in the report.
For example, if a report is using the CORE Permit data source, the user can expand the permit record to see data for any data hub records related to the permit such as Affiliation, Event, Regulated Entity, Workflow Task, and related program component forms. Each related entity type is represented as a 'tab' in the drill down and, within each tab, the individual records are represented as listed records. Listed records may be drilled into to see detail in the same manner.
The example below shows a permit record that has been expanded, showing Affiliation, Event, Regulated Entity, Workflow Task, and a program component named "OCRM Critical Area...". Furthermore, the Regulated Entity tab has been selected, the Regulated Entity record has been expanded, and the Submission tab has been selected, showing all submissions for the regulated entity.
