Creating a Fine

When in a compliance action, navigate to the Fines tab. There, a fine can be added that will create a payable charge within nVIRO. This will show up as a charge as soon as the compliance action goes to In Effect status.

Click the Add Fine button.

The fine types can be configured by an administrator to have different options. Fill out the required information and any additional information needed and click the Save button.

The charge will show in the Financials section of the external user’s site.

The options to pay will be configured to show in the payment section on the fine.

Generating An Invoice For A Fine

If the agency user wishes to create an invoice for the fine, this can be done while in the fine under the Documents tab. The invoice document shown below must be configured in nVIRO before it will be available for use.

Stipulations

Stipulations are actions that can be taken instead of paying fines or in addition to fines.

Creating a stipulation

To add a stipulation, navigate to the Fines tab on a Compliance Action. A stipulation can be added.

Click the Add New Stipulation button. Fill out the stipulation description and the frequency with which the stipulation should be completed, and click the Save button.

Adding a Demand to a Stipulation

A demand can also be added to a stipulation. This is a secondary financial payment that will be made in combination with the stipulation. Click the Demand button on the line of the stipulation.

Fill out the below required details on the demand. Several charges can be added to the demand.

Any notification about the stipulations or demands on those stipulations will need to be manually communicated to the responsible party as there is no notification that will appear on their Site Dashboard or Financials page.
