nSPECT Scheduler

Overview

The nSPECT Scheduler provides various capabilities to support inspectors in conducting evaluations. These capabilities include:

A Note on Terminology

In nVIRO, the term "evaluation" is used to refer to an agency review of regulated facilities, equipment, or documentation. This overarching term includes both on-site inspections and off-site desk audits and record reviews. Since this help topic focuses on nSPECT, which deals with on-site inspections/site visits, the term "inspection" is mostly used. Keep in mind that, within nVIRO, "evaluation" and "inspection" are essentially synonymous terms and are often used interchangeably.

nSPECT Scheduler

The nSPECT Scheduler page provides a list of the evaluations defined in the system. The scheduler may be searched from the Global Search, or, when viewing a site, from the Site Navigation Menu. The list includes key information about each plan, such as workgroup, status, plan creator, creation date, and counts of evaluations within each plan.

Access the nSPECT Scheduler from the Global Search

To access the nSPECT Scheduler:

Evaluations matching the selected search criteria are listed. Searches may be performed using criteria such as Evaluator, Workgroup, Evaluation Type, or related Evaluation Plan. (See Navigation, Searching, and User Profile )

Limited Evaluation Types

The nSPECT Scheduler list is limited to evaluation types that have been configured for integration with nSPECT. This is specified by administrators by setting the Enable nSPECT Integration flag in the evaluation type lookup. Other evaluation types not intended to be performed in the field using the nSPECT mobile inspection software (desk checks, for example) are excluded from the nSPECT Scheduler list.
