Public Site
Overview
The public home page is the first page users see upon opening nVIRO. From here, users can create a new account or sign in to access secure data, including applications, reports, and documents. The public site also provides resources that are available without an account.
Creating an Account
Users most often visit the public site to register a new user account or sign in with an existing one. The Create New Account option is available on both the public home page and the Sign In page. Clicking it prompts the user to enter account information, as described on the Creating External Users page.
Resources Available Without an Account
The following resources are available via the public home page without an account:
Public Notice Search: A list of active public notices for review and comment.
nSITE Explorer: nVIRO’s public spatial reporting tool, which allows users to perform spatial or text searches and access compliance data.
FOIA Request: Link to a form for data requests compliant with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
These resources can be turned on and off for an implementation, and their text descriptions are configurable.
