Public Site
Overview
The public home page is the first page users see upon opening nVIRO. From this page, users can create a new account or sign in to access secure data such as applications, reports, and documents. It also provides access to resources available without signing in.
Creating an Account
nVIRO has three main user groups:
Public users do not have nVIRO accounts. They can only access certain public-facing features (see the Public Resources section below).
External users are members of the regulated community. They can apply for permits, submit reports, and download site-related documents. Typical external users include facility owners and their representatives, employees, and consultants.
Internal users are regulatory agency staff. Access for internal users is determined by their security groups and workgroups.
Members of the regulated community can self-register for external user accounts via the public site. For more information, see the Creating External User Accounts (Regulated Community) page.
Internal user accounts are created within nVIRO by authorized agency staff. For more information, see the Creating Internal User Accounts (Agency Staff) page.
