Form Report Templates
Overview
A Report Template allows you to define a report that uses a template generated by a designer tool called Telerik Report Designer, the file is then added to the report template. There are two methods of uploading report templates to nSPECT:
Adding the template to the files folder where the app is hosted
Upload the files through Admin pages.
To easily identify whether a template is saved in the Files folder or uploaded through the GUI, check the Template File Name. If this field has a value, the name corresponds to a ZIP file located in..\App_Data\Reports.
Report Templates utilize complex logic and scripts to retrieve data. The default options are designed to support various programs and can be customized to a certain extent through application configurations. However, for customizations beyond these capabilities, a new version must be developed to meet specific requirements.
