Connecting to nSPECT Server
nSPECT provides the ability to conduct inspections in the field while online or offline using the nSPECT Mobile app for Apple iOS and Android. This page focuses on connecting to the nSPECT Server from the mobile application.
Setup nSPECT Mobile Access
After opening the nSPECT mobile app, the Connection Settings page will appear, prompting the user to enter the nSPECT server address.
Enter the Environment URL (this is usually the URL used to log in to nSPECT Web).
The URL should be in the following format:
https://server.companyname.com/nspect
To validate the server address, click Save.
If valid, the application will move to the User Log In page.
If invalid, an error message is displayed.
Returning to Server Settings
To change the nSPECT server address, the user must log out of nSPECT.
To log out, click on the User Icon at the bottom of the Inspection Main Page.
The User Icon will pull up the user information and give the user the option to sign out.
After the user signs out, return to the Log In Page and select Server Settings at the bottom. This will return the user to the Connection Settings Page where they will then be able to change the nSPECT server address.
