Connecting to the nSPECT Server from nSPECT Mobile
Overview
This page describes how to connect to the nSPECT server from nSPECT Mobile.
Setting Up nSPECT Mobile Access
To set up nSPECT mobile access:
Open nSPECT Mobile. The Connection Settings page appears.
Enter the environment URL (typically the URL used to log into the web version of nSPECT) in the Server Url field.
The URL should be in the following format: https://server.companyname.com/nspect.
To validate the server URL, click the Save button.
If the URL is valid, the application progresses to the Sign In page.
If it is invalid, an error message appears.
Changing Server Settings
To change the nSPECT server address:
Log out of nSPECT Mobile (for more information, see the Logging In and Out of nSPECT Mobile page).
Click the Server Settings button at the bottom of the Sign In page. This reopens the Connection Settings page, where the nSPECT server URL can be changed as described above.
