Connecting to the nSPECT Server from nSPECT2
Overview
This page describes how to connect to the nSPECT server from nSPECT2.
Setting Up nSPECT2 Access
To set up nSPECT2 access:
Open nSPECT2. The Connection Settings page appears.
Enter the environment URL (typically the URL used to log into the web version of nSPECT) in the Server Url field.
The URL should be in the following format: https://server.companyname.com/nspect.
To validate the server URL, click the Save button.
If the URL is valid, the application progresses to the Sign In page.
If it is invalid, an error message appears.
Changing Server Settings
To change the nSPECT server address:
Log out of nSPECT2 (for more information, see the Logging In and Out of nSPECT2 page).
Click the Server Settings button at the bottom of the Sign In page. This reopens the Connection Settings page, where the nSPECT server URL can be changed as described above.
