For programs that utilize Environmental Projectsenvironmental projects, it is often necessary to designate a relationship between a Project project and a Compliance Actioncompliance action. An example of this would be linking a Consent Agreement consent agreement to indicate its relationship to the Master Projectmaster project. Users have the capability to can designate this relationship by selecting a Compliance Action compliance action and associating it with a Master Projectmaster project. This has proven to be beneficial for programs that deal with the remediation of Storage Tanksstorage tanks, Brownfieldsbrownfields, and Dry Cleaners dry cleaners as they tend to often employ environmental projects.

Associating

/Linking a Compliance Action with a Master Project

To associate a Compliance Action compliance action with a Master Projectmaster project:

• Navigate to the desired Master Project master project from the Environmental Projects Searchsearch page.

• Open the Master Project master project and select click View Details.

• 

  Click on the Linked Compliance Actions tab.

  • A list of Compliance Actions that are currently linked are displayed with a “link” iconcompliance actions is displayed.

  • If the list is extensive, filters may be applied to narrow the list.

• 

  To add a new Compliance Actioncompliance action, click the Link Compliance Action button.

  • A list of available Compliance Actions compliance actions is displayed. :

    

• Select a Compliance Action compliance action you would like to associate (/link ) by clicking the Relate button.

• The Compliance Action compliance action is now related to the Master Project associated with the master project and displayed under on the Linked Compliance Actions tab.:

  

Disassociating/Unlinking a Compliance Action

from a Master Project

To disassociate a Compliance Action with a Master Project (unlink):

/unlink a compliance action from a master project:

• On the Linked Compliance Actions tab, click the “unlink” Unlink button.:
