For programs that utilize environmental projects, it is often necessary to designate a relationship between a project and a compliance action. An example of this would be linking a consent agreement to indicate its relationship to the master project. Users can designate this relationship by selecting a compliance action and associating it with a master project. This has proven to be beneficial for programs that deal with the remediation of storage tanks, brownfields, and dry cleaners as they often employ environmental projects.
Associating/Linking a Compliance Action with a Master Project
To associate a compliance action with a master project:
Navigate to the desired master project from the Environmental Projects search page.
Open the master project and click View Details.
Click the Linked Compliance Actions tab.
A list of currently linked compliance actions is displayed.
If the list is extensive, filters may be applied to narrow the list.
To add a new compliance action, click the Link Compliance Action button.
A list of available compliance actions is displayed:
Select a compliance action you would like to associate/link by clicking the Relate button.
The compliance action is now associated with the master project and displayed on the Linked Compliance Actions tab:
Disassociating/Unlinking a Compliance Action from a Master Project
To disassociate/unlink a compliance action from a master project:
On the Linked Compliance Actions tab, click the Unlink button:
The compliance action is no longer linked to the master project.
