Define Functional Areas .
What are the Functional Areas?
are the major modules within nVIRO. There are five primary functional areas:
- Sites - The central entity under which all information is organized. A "site" record can be one of three types: Site, Person or Organization.
- Submissions - Forms submitted to the agency for processing. Submissions can be permit applications, permit change requests (e.g. modifications, transfers, renewals), complaints, service requests, and compliance reports (schedules)
- Permits - Authorizations to perform some activity
- Evaluations - Inspections and off-site records reviews
- Compliance Actions - Formal and informal enforcement activities
Secondary functional areas include:
- Conservation Easements - Similar to sites, an area that has been designated as a protected area
- Financial Instruments - Bonds and other financial set-asidesĀ
- Receivables (Financials) - Financial charges, payments, and credits
