If your environment is integrated with standard Windows Active Directory authentication, the following configuration may need to be set in windows to avoid prompting for credentials (in particular when working with the document editor.

To resolve the issue in Chrome, add your site into the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Properties and set "Automatic logon with current user name and password" in Local Intranet and Trusted Sites zones.

  1. Open 'Internet Options'.

    1. Type "Internet Options" in the Start menu search bar.

  2. Add your site to the list of trusted sites:

    1. Select the Security tab

    2. Select the Trusted Sites icon

    3.  Click the Sites button.

    4. Add the URL of the nViro web app to the list of websites.

  1. Modify the security level for the 'Trusted Sites' zone to allow automatic logon with current username/password.

    1. Click the Custom Level... button

    2. Scroll to the bottom and select the 'Automatic logon with current user name and password' option.
      It's under the 'User Authentication > Logon' section.

    3. Click OK to save all the changes and close the Properties window.


That's it!  Your next nViro logon prompt should be the last one you have to submit for awhile.
