How to Insert an Image into a Notification Template
Firstly, this will only workThis method only works for images hosted at a URL.
When linked using the method described below, Microsoft Word stores the image URL as opposed to image’s URL rather than embedding the image itself directly into the document. For things like commonly used, publicly available images, such as agency logos, this is usually not really a problem. The User just needs to locate the image on the agency web site and copy the URL. Follow the steps below to insert a problem—the image URL can be copied from the agency’s website.
To link the image:
Open the
notification template in AceOffix.
On the Insert
tab,
open the Quick Parts dropdown menu and select the Field… option.

Select the IncludePicture optionfrom the list of
field names.
Enter the image URL
in the Filename or URL field.
Select the Data not stored with document checkbox.

Click the OK button.
The image will appear in the document.
If an Error
isIs Displayed
insteadInstead of the Picture
After opening a notification template in AceOffix (or a regular document in Microsoft Word), you may see an error message stating “The linked image cannot be displayed” may appear instead of the expected image you were expecting.

This does not necessarily mean the image or link is broken. Microsoft Word occasionally cannot fetch the image fast images quickly enough before the document is rendered on the screenrenders. Try pressing the Ctrl +A and then F9 to refresh the documentand A keys to select the entire document, then press the F9 key to refresh all fields.
