Overview

Alert Types Alerts exist on the main site details screen page and throughout the system and are used to call attention to certain pieces of information related to the site. Alert types are maintained on the Lookups page on the Administration menu. 

Managing

Alert Types

To manage alert types, navigate to Admin > Lookups > alert typesAlert Types. The alert types List screen Alert Types list page displays all available alert types. Additionally you may delete an unreferenced alert type from this page:

Adding or Editing

an Alert Type

On the Alert Type list page, either click the the Add New alert type button or click Open to view/Alert type button (to add a new alert type) or click Open (to view or edit an existing alert type). The Edit alert type Alert Type page opens:

System Required Alert Types

It is important to not that this admin page also lists system required alert types and these note that certain alert types are system required. These alert types can only not be viewed edited and show display a slightly modified view-only edit page, that is view only, displaying a prominent warning that the alert is system required:

Saving Changes

To save changes, click the Save button. To cancel saving or to return to the list after saving, click the Cancel button.

Inactivating or Activating

an Alert Type

In the Status field displays , in the right side panel. The , click the Inactive | Active toggle toggle control activates to activate or inactivates inactivate the alert type. 

Deleting an Alert Type

Alert types may be deleted from the Alert Type List page if they have not been referenced elsewhere in the application. 

To delete an alert type, click on the corresponding action menu (three vertical dots) and click Delete. Image Added
