Overview
Form Sets are groups of forms that are related to one another and implemented as a set. Form Sets are defined by a system administrator and are accessed via the nVIRO Admin menu.
Types of Form Sets
There are three types of form sets:
Schedule OnlyGroup
Schedule Group or Ad Hoc
Submission Package
Schedule
OnlyGroup
The most common type of form set is a Schedule Group. A schedule group is the name given to a form set that has been added to a permit, project or compliance action. For For example, a Form Set named “Construction Reporting” may contain two schedules; : one for the permittee to notify the agency of the beginning of construction, and a second to notify upon completion of construction. Each form within a form set is a schedule.
Form sets are made available for adding to submissions, permits, projects and/or compliance actions by agency staff.
The diagram below illustrates the relationship between form sets components.

Form SetsAn ad-hoc form set is triggered upon the receipt of an initial form submission. The first submission in an ad-hoc form set is considered the trigger form. When the trigger form is received, all of the remaining forms in the form set immediately become available for submission (unless the form is triggered upon receipt of a different submission in the form set). Ad-Hoc form sets may be used independently or as a Schedule Group.
Submission Packages
Submission packages enable related forms to be grouped together as a package of forms that are submitted together. External users can search for and find form packages using the current form search. Form Form packages are listed with a “View Package” button rather than a “Begin” button. Clicking “View Package” displays the package text and lists the forms in the package. Once users have completed and submitted/signed a required form, it is assigned a “Staged for Submission” status. When When all required forms have been staged, the package may be submitted for processing.
Submissions that are part of a submission package are processed internally in essentially the same manner as individual submissions. However However, there is additional specific processing and functionality for submission packages.
When viewing a submission that is part of a submission package, a dropdown drop-down selection field is available at the top of the submission page. This allows the user to toggle between any of the submissions that are part of the package.
A workflow that creates a new Permit, may only be added to the submission form that is the primary (first) form in the package.
Submission Packages have their own status. The The overall status of the submission package is listed displayed in the right sidebar on the Details page for of all submissions that are part of the submission package. When updating a submission package to “Complete” each “Complete, “each of the submissions in the package are validated, and the combined validation results are displayed in the validation results list. If If all submissions are valid, updating the submission package status to “Complete” will also update all submissions in the package to “Complete”.
