Overview

Form Sets are groups of forms that are related to one another and implemented as a set. Form Sets are defined by a system administrator. Form sets are made available for adding to submissions, permits, projects and/or compliance actions by agency staff.

The most common type of form set is a Schedule Group. A schedule group is the name given to a form set that has been added to a permit, project or compliance action.  For example, a Form Set named “Construction Reporting” may contain two schedules; one for the permittee to notify the agency of the beginning of construction, and a second to notify upon completion of construction. Each form within a form set is a schedule.

The diagram below illustrates the relationship between form sets components.

Ad Hoc Form Sets

An ad hoc form set is triggered upon the receipt of a submission. The first submission in an ad hoc form set is considered the trigger form. When the trigger form is received, all of the remaining forms in the form set immediately become available for submission (unless the form is triggered upon receipt of a different submission in the form set).

Adding a Form Set to a Permit, Project or Compliance Action

To add a form set (schedule group) to a permit or compliance action:

  1. Open the Permit Details or Compliance Action Details screen

  2. Select the Schedules tab

  3. Click the Copy Schedule Group button

  4. Browse for the Form Set you wish to add and click OK

The form set will be added. Due dates for specific schedules in the form set should be set at this time.
