Overview

First an introductory sentence or paragraph here. 



When we get to writing this page, include the following about Related Permits (rephrase as necessary):

  • Re: Related Permits: When you have a draft permit, you can go to this tab and select one or more permits (doesn't have to be the same permit number) and add the Supersedes relationship. Then, when your draft permit gets changed to In Effect, those permits [that you added the relationship to] will get changed to Superseded.
  • If your permit is already In Effect, adding the Supersedes relationship as described above won't have any effect. Only super admins should even be able to see/do this, since they are the only ones who are able to change In Effect permits.

The following navigation tabs are available across the top of the page:

DocumentsDocuments related to the permit.

ContactsNames, addresses and phone numbers related to the permit.
Program ComponentsAdditional data entry fields related to the permit.
SchedulesReporting requirements related to the permit.
Features and LimitsFeatures and Limits for the permit.  Note: Tab may only display as Features depending on configuration.

Controls

The following table lists the fields available on the Submission Details screen:

Field

Description

Program AreasA permit may be associated to one or more Program Areas.   To specify a program area, select it from the drop-down list and click the add button.  One program area may be designated as the primary program area.  By default this is the first program selected, but may be changed using the radio button in the list.
Action The category of action being performed such as Informal, Formal, Civil, or Criminal 
TypeThe specific type of action being performed such as a Violation Notice or an Administrative Consent Order.  Type is dependent on the Action (category) specified. 
Permit Case NumberA case number may be entered to specify a related case for the permit.
WorkgroupThe workgroup to which the processor belongs. The workgroup selected in this field determines which users are available for selection in the processor field below.
ProcessorThe project activity manager for this project. The selected project activity manager receives notifications of significant project-related events, such as submitted schedules and workflow task status updates.
Action DateThe date the permit is Issued or Entered.
CommentsComments or notes related to the permit.
Confidential SettingsDisplayed if the permit is set to confidential.  See Designating a permit as Confidential

Right Sidebar Controls

The following table lists the fields available on the right sidebar:

Status

The current status of the permit.  

Confidential Checkbox to designate the permit as confidential.  Only displayed if the permit type has been designated as confidential.  When checked, the system provides a mechanism to designate access to specific users.
SiteName and address of the site to which the violation relates.
Site AlertsSite alerts may appear if there are open permits, expired permits or outstanding fees on the site
Other Actions - View HistoryProvides an audit listing of changes made to the current permit over time
