Overview

The Permit Details page allows for viewing and editing of a permit version and all related components of the permit.


Navigation Tabs 

The following navigation tabs are available across the top of the page:

Tab Name

Description

DetailsDisplays details of the permit.
DocumentsDocuments related to the permit.
EventsEvents related to the permit.
ContactsNames, addresses, and phone numbers related to the permit.
Program ComponentsAdditional data entry fields related to the permit.
SchedulesReporting requirements related to the permit.
Features and LimitsFeatures and Limits for the permit. (Note: Tab label may only display "Features" depending on configuration.)

Annual Billing

Fee categories and types for annual billing. (Note: Tab will only display if it has been configured for the current permit's category.)

Related Permits

A list of other permits for the site that are related to the current permit in some way.

Also, provides the ability to supersede multiple permits when the current permit goes into effect.

Financial InstrumentsCreate and manage financial instruments associated with the permit.

Fields

The following table lists the fields available on the Permit Details page:

Field

Description

Alternate Permit Number

Provides an alternative permit number that may be used in addition to the nVIRO permit number (e.g., to relate to external systems). 

This field may be hidden based on permit category configuration.

Issue DateDate the permit is issued.
Effective DateDate the permit goes into effect.
Expiration Date

Date the permit is no longer in effect. 

This is optionally available based on permit category configuration.

Terminated / Retired DateTermination date of the permit.
Next Application Due Date

Date when the next application for permit renewal is due.

This field may be hidden based on permit category configuration.

Permit CategoryCategorization of the permit as defined by the permit category configuration.
Permit Type

Type of permit as defined by permit type configuration.

This field will be hidden if the selected permit category does not have any associated types.

General Permit

Permit number of the general permit upon which this permit is based. This field is available only if a 'general permit' category has been selected in the Permit Category field.

This field is hidden if the selected permit category is not configured to link to a master general permit.

Compliance Manager WorkgroupThe workgroup to which the compliance manager belongs. The workgroup selected in this field determines which users are available for selection in the Compliance Manager Processor field.
Compliance Manager ProcessorThe compliance manager for this permit. The selected user receives notifications of significant permit-related events, such as submitted schedules and workflow task status updates.
Agency Contact Workgroup

The workgroup to be contacted if the permittee has questions about their permit. The selected workgroup selection is not visible to external users and is provided to serve as a filter for the choices in the Agency Contact User field.

This field may be hidden based on permit category configuration.

Agency Contact User

The person to be contacted if the permittee has questions about their permit. The selected user's name, email, and phone is made visible to external users on the Permits List screen.

This field may be hidden based on permit category configuration.

CommentsComments or notes related to the permit.
After the Fact PermitIndicates the permittee was operating without a permit prior to the permit issuance.

Right Sidebar Fields and Controls

The following table lists the fields available on the right sidebar:

Description

Status

The current status of the permit.

Update StatusThis button invokes a dialog allowing the status of the permit to be changed.
SiteName and address of the site to which the permit relates. The site name provides a hyperlink to the site record.
Site AlertsSite alerts may appear if there are open permits, expired permits, or outstanding fees on the site, or if a manual alert has been set on the site.
PermitteeName and address of the permittee. The permittee name provides a hyperlink to the permittee contact record.
Applications/RequestsProvides a link to the application record that initiated the permit creation or modification and displays the status of the application.
Other Actions - View Other VersionsClicking this action provides a list of all other versions of this permit. From the list, any permit version may be opened.
Other Actions - View HistoryProvides an audit listing of changes made to the current permit over time.
View DMRsProvides a list of all DMRs for the permit version.

Editing the Permit Details

To edit the permit details:

  • Edit the fields on the Permit Details page.
  • Click the Save button.
  • A message is displayed, indicating your changes have been saved.

To edit data in other tabs, refer to the corresponding links in the Navigation Tabs table above.
