Overview

Functional Areas are the major modules within nVIRO. There are five primary functional areas:

  • Sites - The central entity under which all information is organized. A "site" record can be one of three types: Site, Person or Organization.
  • Submissions - Forms submitted to the agency for processing. Submissions can be permit applications, permit change requests (e.g. modifications, transfers, renewals), complaints, service requests, or compliance reports (schedules)
  • Permits - Agency-issued authorizations to perform some activity.
  • Evaluations - Inspections and off-site records reviews, including any identified violations or deficiencies.
  • Compliance Actions - Formal and informal enforcement activities.

Secondary functional areas include:

  • Conservation Easements - Similar to sites, an area that has been designated as a protected area.
  • Financial Instruments - Bonds and other financial set-asides.
  • Receivables (Financials) - Financial charges, payments, and credits.
