Logging In and Out of nSPECT Mobile
Logging into nSPECT
After the connection setting is validated as described in Connecting to the nSPECT Server from nSPECT Mobile, the Sign In page is displayed. The user will be asked to enter their username and password.
Forgot Password
To request a password reset, from the login page click Forgot Password?
The Forgot Password Page is displayed, enter username and click SEND to request a new temporary password which will be sent to the registered email.
If the request is successful, a message is displayed stating an email will be received.
The user will get an email containing a temporary password.
At some instances, the email will end up in the junk email, please make sure to check there before requesting another one.
Use the temporary password received in the email to log in following the steps described in Logging into nSPECT. Since the log-in is using a temporary password, a new password must be entered. The Change Password page is displayed, enter Username, Old Password, New Password, New Password Confirm and click Save New Password.
The Old Password refers to the temporary password received through email.
If the change is successful, the login page is displayed with a message “Your password has been changed.” You will be directed to My inspection page without the need to sign up again.
Logging Out of nSPECT
To log out, click on the User tab at the bottom of the Page.
The User page is displayed. Click on Sign Out.
A confirmation pop-up is displayed, click Sign Out to sign out.
If there is inspection data pending sync another confirmation message will appear,
WARNING! Unsynced Data on Device
There is data on your device that has not been synced with the server. Logging out will lose all this inspection data forever. Do you still want to log out?
Select “Yes, LOGOUT AND DELETE UNSYNCED DATA” will log out and clear all data on the device.
