Overview

This page outlines the default system visibility rules for documents in nVIRO. Note that other implementation-specific rules may apply.

Document Visibility Logic

Document visibility for external users (registered or public) follows the logic outlined in the table below.

Linked documents are never visible to external users.

  • Site status is Active.

Submission (including schedules)

  • Submission is in any completed status.

  • Submission is in any completed status.

  • Document has been added to the public notice.

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

Complaint 

  • Application is configured to include complaint data (App Deploy Setting "EXPLORER.EXCLUDE_COMPLAINT_DATA" = 0).

 

 

Permit

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

  • Permit has been issued.

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

  • Permit status is not In Process or Not Issued.

  • Document has been added to the public notice.

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

Evaluation

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

  • Evaluation status is Complete.

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

  • Evaluation status is not Withdrawn, Planned, Scheduled, or Processed.

 

Compliance Action

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

  • Compliance action status is Entered, Issued, Superseded, Closed, or Terminated.

  • Compliance action is not confidential.

  • Compliance action category code is not "CRIMINAL" or "CRIMLTG."

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

  • Compliance action is not confidential.

  • Compliance action status code is not "PENDING."

 

Project

  • Document security classification is set to Public.

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

 

Receivable

  • N/A; Never shown in nSITE Explorer

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

 

Schedule-DMR

  • Only finalized DMR submission documents that are set to Public are displayed.

  • Document security classification is set to Public or Authorized External User.

  • Document status is Final.

  • Documents are downloadable through the Site/Submitted DMRs page.

 

*Only applies to nVIRO releases before 2025.1.

Downloading Capability

  • Can only view the document if it has been assigned to them and the following has been configured: SP_GET_PERMS_DOC_MGMT returns CNTNT_IS_HIDDEN=1.
