Viewing and Editing Financial Assurance Details
Overview
A financial assurance record can be viewed and edited on the Financial Assurance Details page.
Only users in security groups with the “Financial Assurance - Manager” role can edit financial assurance information.
Navigation Tabs
The following navigation tabs appear across the top of the Financial Assurance Details page.

Main Fields
The following fields appear on the Financial Assurance Details page.
Field | Description | Notes |

Program Area | The program area that the financial assurance is associated with. |

Financial Exempt | The financial assurance’s exemption status. |
|
Current Cost Estimate Approval Date | The date of the latest cost estimate approval. |
|
Cost Estimate Amounts | A table listing the amounts allocated to different types of activities. | Rows in this table are added when the financial assurance record is first created. Rows cannot be added or removed later. Cost estimate types available during record creation are determined based on the selected program area. |
Total Costs Non-Liability | The sum of all non-liability cost estimates. |

Total Cost Liability | The sum of all liability cost estimates. |

Total Costs | The sum of all cost estimates. |
|
Total Instruments Non-Liability | The sum of all non-liability financial instruments. | Financial instruments are listed on the Financial Instruments tab. |
Total Instruments Liability | The sum of all liability financial instruments. | |
Total Instruments | The sum of all financial instruments. | |
Comments | Comments related to the financial assurance. |
