Working with Financial Assurances
Searching Financial Assurances
The Financial Assurance module must be enabled for financial assurance information to appear.
Financial Assurance records can be searched through global search or the navigation menu when viewing a site.
Searching Financial Assurances Using Global Search
Click the global search field and select the Financial Assurance topic to open the Financial Assurance search page. For more information on global search and search pages, see the Search by Topic page.
The Financial Assurance search page allows financial assurance records to be searched, sorted, and filtered by criteria such as program and current cost estimate approval date.
Click the Open button to view or edit the financial assurance details for the selected record.
Searching Financial Assurances Using the Site Navigation Menu
When viewing a site, click the Financial Assurance option in the navigation menu to view the site’s financial assurance records. Click the Open button on any row to view the Financial Assurance Details.
Creating a New Financial Assurance Record
Financial assurance information can be added in three contexts:
To a Permit. This must be enabled as a Permit Category configuration setting.
To a Compliance Action.
To a Site. This must be done from the site’s Financial Assurance List page, if the system has been configured to allow this using a global deployment setting.
To create a new financial assurance record, open the Financial Assurances tab of the relevant record.
Click the Add Assurance button and fill all applicable fields.
Financial Assurance Permissions
Only users in security groups with the “Financial Assurance - Manager” role can edit financial assurance information.
