Viewing and Editing Evaluation Details

Overview

The Evaluation Details page allows for viewing and editing of an evaluation and all related components of the evaluation. From the Evaluation Details page, the evaluation may also be scheduled to be conducted as a mobile inspection via nSPECT.

Navigation Tabs

The following navigation tabs are available across the top of the page:

Tab Name

Details

Displays details of the evaluation.

Workflow and Tasks

Workflows and related tasks related to the evaluation.

Documents

Documents related to the evaluation.

Events

Events related to the evaluation.

Inspection Results

Displays inspection results from a completed nSPECT inspection. The intent of this screen is to highlight key results that users can view without opening the detailed report.

Only questions that have been properly tagged in nSPECT form design will appear in the Inspection Results tab. Also, only simple control types such as text fields, single-select controls, and text areas, are available for display on the Inspection Results tab. Complex control types like tables are not available.

The Inspection Results tab will only display if there are results to display, otherwise the tab is hidden.

Program Components

Additional data entry fields related to the evaluation.

Contacts

Contains contact information for contacts related to the evaluation.

Violations

Violations identified or re-evaluated by the evaluation.

Related Evaluations

Other evaluations related to the current evaluation. 

Samples

Displays results from samples conducted by the inspector. Samples are grouped by monitoring locations. This tab is only shown if configured on the inspection type.

Controls

The following table lists the fields available on the Evaluation Details page:

Field

Description

Program Area

An evaluation may be associated with a particular program area. Selecting the program area also refines the list of Evaluation Types for selection.

Evaluation Type

The specific type of evaluation being performed. The Evaluation type specified can, if configured, determine the initial form assigned to the inspection when it is conducted in nSPECT.

Permit

The permit that is being specifically evaluated (optional).

Workgroup

The workgroup to which the processor belongs. The workgroup selected in this field determines which users are available for selection in the Evaluator field below.

Evaluator

The Evaluator for this evaluation. If the evaluation is conducted as an nSPECT inspection, the evaluator is designated as the inspector in nSPECT.

Scheduled Date

The date the evaluation is scheduled to be conducted.

For EPA Commitment

Indicates whether this evaluation is being performed to satisfy a commitment to EPA. Whether or not this field is displayed is configurable for each evaluation type and is managed on the Admin > Lookups > Evaluation Types > Edit Evaluation Type field.

Evaluation Start Date/Time

The date and time that the evaluation began. Note that Time may or may not be available depending upon the configuration of the Evaluation Type.

Evaluation End Date/Time

The date and time that the evaluation was completed. Note that Time may or may not be available depending upon configuration of the Evaluation Type.

Report Transmittal Date

The date that the evaluation report was transmitted (optional).

Sample Transmittal Date

The date that the samples were transmitted (optional).

Internal Comments

Provides a place for comments or notes related to the evaluation.

External Comments

Provides a place for comments or notes on the evaluation that are exposed to authorized external users. The external user has visibility to these comments on the evaluation summary page.

Additional Assigned Users

Lists additional staff who might have been present at, or contributed to, the evaluation.

Right Sidebar Controls

The following table lists the fields available on the right sidebar:

Status

The current status of the evaluation.

Update Status

Button used to manually change the status of an evaluation (such as changing the status from Processed to Complete).

Site

Name and address of the site to which the permit relates. The site name provides a hyperlink to the site record.

Site Alerts

Site alerts may appear if there are open evaluations, expired permits, or outstanding fees on the site, or if a manual alert has been set on the site.

Other Actions - View History

Provides an audit listing of changes made to the current evaluation over time.

Editing the Evaluation Details

To edit the evaluation details:

  • Edit the fields on the Evaluation Details page.

  • Click the Save button.

  • A message is displayed, indicating your changes have been saved.
