Viewing and Editing Evaluation Details
Overview
An evaluation and its related components can be viewed and edited on the Evaluation Details page.
Navigation Tabs
The following navigation tabs appear across the top of the Evaluation Details page.

Inspection Results | Key results of a completed nSPECT inspection. | This tab offers a snapshot alternative to the detailed inspection report. Key results are identified through question tagging in nSPECT form design. Only results of simple controls, such as text fields and single-select controls, can be configured to appear on this tab. If no questions have been tagged in nSPECT, or if no results are available, this tab is hidden. For more information about configuring inspection results, see the nCORE / nSPECT Data Integration page. |
Any custom data elements related to the evaluation. |

Violations identified or re-evaluated by the evaluation. |

Related Evaluations | Other evaluations connected to the current evaluation. |

Results from samples gathered by the inspector. | Samples are grouped by monitoring locations. The visibility of this tab can be configured by evaluation type. To manage these settings, navigate to Admin > Lookups > Evaluation Types > Edit Evaluation Type. |
Main Fields
The following fields appear on the Evaluation Details page.
Field | Description | Notes |
---|---|---|
Program Area | The program area that the evaluation is associated with. | The selected program area determines which evaluation types appear in the next field. |
Evaluation Type | The type of evaluation being performed. | If configured, the selected evaluation type determines the form assigned to the corresponding nSPECT inspection. |
Permit | The permit being evaluated. | This field is optional. |
Workgroup | The workgroup to which the evaluator belongs. | The selected workgroup determines which users appear in the Evaluator field. |
Evaluator | The evaluator for the evaluation. | If the evaluation is conducted as an nSPECT inspection, the evaluator is also assigned as the inspector in nSPECT. |
Scheduled Date | The date the evaluation is scheduled to be conducted. |

For EPA Commitment | Indication of whether the evaluation is being performed to satisfy a commitment to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). | The visibility of this field can be configured by evaluation type. To manage these settings, navigate to Admin > Lookups > Evaluation Types > Edit Evaluation Type. |
Evaluation Start Date/Time | The date and time that the evaluation began. | The visibility of the Time field can be configured by evaluation type. To manage these settings, navigate to Admin > Lookups > Evaluation Types > Edit Evaluation Type. |
Evaluation End Date/Time | The date and time that the evaluation was completed. | The visibility of the Time field can be configured by evaluation type. To manage these settings, navigate to Admin > Lookups > Evaluation Types > Edit Evaluation Type. |
Report Transmittal Date | The date that the evaluation report was transmitted. | This field is optional. |
Sample Transmittal Date | The date that any samples were transmitted. | This field is optional. |
Internal Comments | Notes related to the evaluation not visible to external users. |

External Comments | Notes related to the evaluation that are visible to authorized external users on the Evaluation Summary page. |

Additional Assigned Users | Additional staff who were present at or contributed to the evaluation. |

Right Sidebar Fields
The following fields are available in the right sidebar of the Evaluation Details page.
Field | Description | Notes |
---|---|---|
Status | The current status of the evaluation. | The status can be changed by clicking the Update Status button. |
Site | The name and address of the site to which the evaluation relates. | The site name links to the site record. |
Site Alerts | Any active alerts for the site to which the evaluation relates. | Alerts may include open evaluations, expired permits, or outstanding fees. |
An audit of changes made to the evaluation record over time. |

Editing the Evaluation Details
To edit information on the Evaluation Details page:
Edit the relevant field.
Click the Save button. A message is displayed indicating changes have been saved.
