Viewing and Editing Compliance Action Details
Overview
The Compliance/Enforcement Action Details page allows for viewing and editing a compliance action.
Navigation Tabs
The following navigation tabs are available across the top of the page:

Details | Displays details of the compliance action. |
Workflows and related tasks related to the compliance action. | |
Documents related to the compliance action. | |
Events related to the compliance action. | |
Contains contact information for contacts related to the compliance action. | |
Additional data entry fields related to the compliance action. | |
Reporting requirements related to the compliance action. | |
Financial Assurances related to the compliance action. | |
Linked Violations | A list of violations referenced by the compliance action. |
Fines and penalties related to the compliance action. Note: The Fines tab may or may not be displayed based on the configuration of the compliance action type. | |
Related Actions | Other related compliance actions. Specifically, those that precede or supersede the current compliance action. |
Controls
The following table lists the fields available on the Compliance/Enforcement Action Details page:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Program Areas | A compliance action may be associated with one or more Program Areas. To specify a program area, select it from the drop-down list and click the Add button. One program area may be designated as the primary program area. By default, this is the first program selected, but may be changed using the radio button in the list. |
Action | The category of compliance action, such as Informal, Formal, Civil, or Criminal. The selection made in this field determines the types available for selection in the Type field. |
Type | The specific type of action being performed, such as a Violation Notice or an Administrative Consent Order. Type is dependent on the Action (category) specified. |
Compliance Action Case Number | A case number may be entered to specify a related case for the compliance action. |
Workgroup | The workgroup to which the processor belongs. The workgroup selected in this field determines which users are available for selection in the Processor field below. |
Processor | The processor for this compliance action. The selected processor receives notifications of significant compliance-action-related events, such as submitted schedules and workflow task status updates. |
Action Date | The date the compliance action is Issued or Entered. |
Internal Comments | Provides a place for comments or notes related to the compliance action. |
External Comments | Provides a place for comments or notes on the evaluation that are exposed to authorized external users. The external user has visibility to these comments on the compliance action summary page. |
Confidential Settings | Displayed if the compliance action is set to confidential. See Designating a Compliance Action as Confidential. |
Right Sidebar Controls
The following table lists the fields available on the right sidebar:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Status | The current status of the compliance action. |
Update Status | Button used to manually change the status of a compliance action (such as changing the status from Pending to Issued). |
Confidential | Checkbox to designate the compliance action as confidential. Only displayed if the compliance action type has been designated as confidential. When checked, the system provides a mechanism to designate access to specific users. |
Site | Name and address of the site to which the permit relates. The site name provides a hyperlink to the site record. |
Site Alerts | Site alerts may appear if there are open compliance actions, expired permits, or outstanding fees on the site, or if a manual alert has been set on the site. |
Other Actions - View History | Provides an audit listing of changes made to the current compliance action over time. |
