Getting Around the Platform

Overview

This page introduces the basic layout of the nVIRO platform to provide an overview of the main pages and how the system is organized.

Core Pages

Most users interact with two key types of pages in nVIRO: list pages and detail pages. These pages work together to help locate, view, and manage information within the system.

List Pages

List pages, including search pages, display lists of records. Specific columns and information displayed vary by page, context, and configuration. On most list pages, click anywhere on a row to open the detail page for that record.

A search panel appears on every list page where users can search for specific records within the list.

Lists can also be filtered by entering text in the filter fields beneath the column headings.

Detail Pages

Detail pages display functional area records. They include various navigation tabs, depending on the functional area and other configuration, where users can view and manage basic details and other data such as workflows, tasks, documents, events, and contacts related to the record.

Main Navigation Menu

The main navigation menu appears across the top of every page in nVIRO. It provides access to the global search bar, the nVIRO AI Assistant (if configured), notifications, help, and the User Profile, as well as quick links to the My Tasks dashboard, Inbox, and Admin area (if the user has administrative permissions).
