Affiliation Types (Roles)
Overview
nVIRO uses affiliation types—also known as roles—to define the roles that contacts play within a specific functional area. For example, a submission might include one contact with the “Applicant” affiliation type and another with the “Facility Contact” affiliation type, or a single contact may hold both roles.
These affiliation types enable contact inheritance across functional areas and contact data integration between nCORE and nFORM. Affiliation type codes can also be used to reference contact information in generated documents when configured to do so in a document template. In addition, affiliation types can be used to specify recipients of system notifications generated by system actions.
